The Thief River Falls Chamber of Commerce proudly announced today its Board of Directors for 2014.
Officers are Joe Kezar, Kezar Music, Chair; Lisa Robson, Evergreen Eating Emporium, Past Chair; Rhonda Lofberg, House Of Hair, 2015 Chair Elect.
Board of Directors include Justin Brooks, Thrivent Financial; Cathy Fynboh, Digi-Key Corporation; Holly Haugen, Model Laundry; Jeff Hendrickson, Popplers Furniture; Tim Loeffler, Insurance Brokers of MN Loeffler Agency; Ryan Walseth, Bergan Travel.
Ex-Officios include Laura Anderson, Thief River Falls Convention & Visitors Bureau; Rachel Prudhomme, City of Thief River Falls; Darryl Tveitbakk, Pennington County; Laine Larson, Thief River Falls Public Schools; Mike Moore, Jobs, Inc.; Bonny Stechmann, Minnesota Department of Employment & Economic Development; and Carey Castle, Northland Community & Technical College.
Chamber of Commerce staff includes Cindy Krankkala, Executive Director; and Brenda Marben, Administrative Assistant.
The chamber is the only organization to which YOU can belong that is solely dedicated to the betterment of your city, your business or your profession. It is a business organization for the PROMOTION and PROTECTION of business and dedicated to the principles of building better towns and communities. It is the “front door” providing a variety of civic information to residents, newcomers, students, visitors and business prospects.
The chamber proudly supports the Chamber Buck and Digi Buck Program. These programs assure many dollars are spent exclusively at Chamber member businesses. Some of the other events that the Chamber sponsors each year include Holiday Train, Community Christmas Eve Dinner, Christmas lights downtown TRF, RiverFest vendors, Flower Basket Program, Day at the Capitol, Jose Cole Circus, Chamber banquet, Farmers Merchant Mixer, Block Party, Pig Roast, Treasure Hunt, Crazy Days, Everybody’s Market, Old Fashioned Harvest Festival, Pioneer Run In Color, NCTC College State of Address, Manufacturers Luncheon, Chairman’s Luncheon, town hall meetings, debates, Business After Hours, and Moonlight Madness.
The Thief River Falls Chamber of Commerce was established in 1913 to promote a business climate that enhances economic vitality and improves the quality of life for all citizens.
