Chamber Announces 2012 Board of Directors

We announced our 2012 board of directors today. The board is the governing body and sets all policies of the Chamber. In taking on these responsibilities, directors are asked to think beyond their experience and plan beyond their tenure.

Sanford Health Diabetes Showcase

Sanford Thief River Falls Medical Center & Clinic is hosting its annual Diabetes Showcase on Saturday, October 8, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at the Imperial Room in the Ralph Engelstad Arena. There is no fee to attend and the event is open to the public.

Visit the various educational booths, attend presentations, and take advantage of free blood pressure and blood glucose screenings. Door prizes will also be given out.

The following presentations will be given:

  • 9:00 a.m., Getting Active & Living Well with Diabetes, presented by Jordan Koland, MS, CPT, Sanford Thief River Falls

Sanford Thief River Falls Auxiliary Jewelry Sale

This year’s jewelry sale hosted by the Sanford Thief River Falls Auxiliary is on Tuesday, October 18, from 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in the North Conference Room of the Sanford Medical Center downtown.

All jewelry is $5.00 or less. Cash, checks, and debit/credit cards are accepted. All proceeds go towards the Auxiliary’s mission of giving back to the hospital for improved patient care.
