Northland Community Band Centennial Performance

The Centennial celebration of the Northland Community Band will begin on Thursday, May 17, at 6:00 p.m. at the Gazebo Park. In case of rain the concert will be held in the Gunderson Commons at Northland College. The band will be playing a variety of music from marches, polkas, and pop tunes to Americana and orchestral transcriptions. Fun for the whole family! Bring your lawn chairs or a blanket and enjoy the great Minnesota springtime weather.

9:00am-3:00pm: Syttende Mai Celebration. Northern State Bank. Coffee, Scandinavian treats, music.

7:30pm: Everybody Has a Cousin in America by Per Tofte. Eagles Hall. $2.50 admission.

Saturday, May 19

2:00pm: Kubb Tournament. Gazebo Park.

7:00-11:00pm: Old Tyme Dance with Cathy Erickson Band and Killingberg Orchestra. Eagles Hall. $5 admission.

Monday, May 21

6:00-9:00pm: Cathy’s Variety Show Live with Killingberg Orchestra. Northland College, Gunderson Commons.

Chamber Joins Grow Minnesota! Economic Development Program

We announced today that we joined Grow Minnesota!, a private sector economic development program led by the Minnesota Chamber of Commerce. The primary focus of this program is to retain Minnesota businesses and to encourage them to expand in the state. For more information, read our press release.
